BigCB Catalog Detail: "Key to the Centipedes of Hastings"
Back to: BiGCB Informatics

DatasetID 99
Name Key to the Centipedes of Hastings
Description A Key to the local centipedes. It is unclear whether each species is found specifically at Hastings or in the surrounding area. Mark Stromberg gave the following general description via personal communication: "From 1937 to about 1955, specimens of invertebrates were collected at Hastings Reserve, Monterey County, CA by Jean Linsdale, Betty Davis and others. I am entering species names in lists, by taxa, for this Hastings collection. Most species were sent to experts at the time for verification. I want these historical collections be available online to further long-term research."
