Habitat There's some speculation that the species prefer moist areas, but have been found in areas away from water indicating moisture is not a requirement. The species has been found in open wooded areas, mixed-sclerophyll forests, and chaparral.

Comments Species seems to have an even distribution with records at Arnold Field and property,
Cement Springs, School Hill, Red Hill and Red Hill Spring, and Big Creek. There's some
speculation that the species prefer moist areas, but have been found in areas away
from water indicating moisture is not a requirement. The species has been found in
open wooded areas, mixed-sclerophyll forests, and chaparral. It's assumed to be at
Poison Oak Ridge, Red Hill, Robinson Prairie, and Haystack Hill. Observations can be
made year round except in December but peak from April to August.
