Majority of previous records are around pumphouse, extreme upper Flower Long Field, grassy areas of Big Creek, Long Field, Home Field, Cow Pasture, and Vineyard Field. Other observations made on County Road, Martin Road, Arnold Road and below the Arnold Cabin, and at School Hill. During the study they were found at Red House and Haystack Hill. Given their presumed preference for Chaparral habitat they are assumed to be present south of Arnold field, at Arnold Road Flat, and parts of Poison Oak Hill and Watertank Hill. Species can also be found in areas near mixed-sclerophyll forest and open grassy areas. Observations were made from March to October with peaks between May and August and extremes on 6 November 1941, 23 November 1941, 31 January 1942, and 15 December 1951. |
